Description

The OrangeStorm Giga accommodates components too large for standard printers. Its 800 × 800 × 1000 mm build volume enables the creation of furniture, full-scale props, architectural models, and tooling as single, unbroken units. A fully welded steel frame maintains gantry rigidity, ensuring layer accuracy on a scale where less robust aluminum alternatives might bend and cause printing imperfections. This printer supports high-temperature engineering filaments beyond typical PLA, allowing for structural and functional large-format parts suitable for load-bearing or heat-exposed environments. Automatic bed calibration manages leveling across its extensive build plate, which would be challenging to adjust manually. Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and USB connectivity facilitate its integration into production workflows, not just standalone use. A single print head consumes approximately 1530 W to heat the large print bed and chamber. Expanding the frame for multi-material or multi-part production adds about 100 W per additional head. Despite its considerable size, the machine achieves a print precision of ±0.1 mm and utilizes standard 1.75 mm filament, avoiding proprietary formats.
