Description

The M200 Plus incorporates a fully enclosed, heated print chamber to maintain dimensional stability for engineering filaments such as ABS, nylon, and polycarbonate during extended print jobs. This design helps prevent warping, which is common in open-frame machines. Its perforated build plate offers a mechanical grip, promoting robust first-layer adhesion even with materials prone to lifting, without solely depending on adhesive or surface texture. Zortrax's Layer Plan software enables users to inspect and modify individual layers digitally before printing, allowing for early detection of support or orientation problems. Supported by an extensive library of validated materials, the M200 Plus is designed for predictable outcomes with technical substances, rather than requiring experimentation with unvalidated configurations. A Speed Mode profile, enabled by firmware, can increase print speed at the expense of a slight reduction in surface finish, suitable for tasks that do not require presentation quality and without needing hardware modifications. The combination of the heated, enclosed chamber and hotend consumes up to 320 W at its peak, and the device uses standard 1.75 mm filament from its validated material collection.
